Hyperbare versus normobare condities
Hyperbare en normobare therapie zijn beide methoden waarbij zuurstof wordt gebruikt om genezing en herstel te bevorderen, maar er is een belangrijk verschil in drukomstandigheden. Hyperbare therapie vindt plaats bij verhoogde druk, waardoor meer zuurstof in het bloed wordt opgenomen. Normobare therapie in een Normocare kamer daarentegen gebeurt bij zeer licht verhoogde atmosferische druk tot maximaal 1,5 bar. Zo versnellen we de opname van de gassen in de kamer in het lichaam, zonder de risico’s die verbonden zijn aan hyperbare omstandigheden. Normocare voegt hier nog een extra dimensie aan toe: waterstof als geheime wapen, zowel in de lucht in onze kamer, als in het waterstofwater dat u er drinkt.
Hoewel vele studies zijn uitgevoerd in hyperbare omstandigheden, zijn de onderliggende biologische effecten – zoals verbeterde celherstel, ontstekingsremming en stimulatie van groei- en herstelprocessen – ook relevant bij normobare toepassingen, zij het mogelijk in mindere mate of mits toepassing over een langere periode. Normobarische therapie in een Normocare kamer is echter aangenaam en veilig, waardoor u meerdere uren in de kamer kan verblijven en niet eens merkt dat u behandeld wordt.
